@Lindsey

Thanks for your kind words. I'm glad you plan to read Linchpin. I think, like me, you will find yourself nodding, underlining (in pencil, of course!) and sticking Post-Its all over this book.

As a poet, you'll appreciate that I recommended Linchpin to my college age son, a young poet who eschews marketing and business. I knew he would appreciate Seth's "factory" analogy. (Though, lucky for him, a Waldorf education spared him factory training at school.)

Looking forward to exploring your blog.

Lorraine,

I have followed you for a long time on Twitter. Somewhat passively, as I've been living in Mexico, doing things the hard way, you might say. Now that I'm back in the States - and back in business - I'm playing catch up.

This was such an impressive review of a book I have already heard so much about through my usual channels (particularly Brazen Careerist and the Twitterverse) that it stopped my in my tracks. Seth ought to send you a personal thank you. You ought to pat yourself on the back.

Not only did you convince me to read the book, but you completely changed my outlook on this otherwise disappointing work day by translating in such thoroughly convincing words that are all your own.

Many thanks!

Thanks, Paul:

If you haven't already, I hope you read this book. It has important things to say to creative people like you.

As for my "authority"--it's inspired by Seth. It's strange how scary it feels to voice a strong opinion--a residual of our education in compliance, perhaps?--but I DO feel very strongly about this book.

By gum, Lorraine; you can't half write! I almost never read reviews, but when I saw you'd done one, I had to see.

Your writing resonates with such authority. And the annotated(!) Post-it notes sticking out of your copy show you really mean business. :)

Thanks for the great run through. Seth would be proud. Time spent with your work is never wasted.

Best regards, P. :)
